- CLOTHING
- Bring a variety of colors and
textures, but be sure to include solids. Stripes and bold
prints draw your eyes to the clothing, not your face. When
in doubt, bring a few extra outfits, and we will help choose
those that will be most flattering and that will photograph
best. Be prepared to be photographed head to toes.
- HAIR
- Avoid changing your hairstyle right
before your portrait session. Often a new color or cut may
be more dramatic than you would like in your portraits. Our
goal is to create a variety of portraits you and your family
will like.
-
- RETOUCHING No problem. We will retouch facial
blemishes and shine on all finished portraits
- TAN LINES
- Keep in mind tan lines will show.
|
- SMILES AND BRACES
- Braces on your teeth can be removed
with an additional charge, and you'll want a variety of
expressions, so don't hesitate to smile, smile, smile.
- PETS
- We encourage you to bring your best
friends, including 4 legged. To avoid accidents, please
don't feed or water your pet a few hours before arriving.
FAMILIES
CLOTHING
Clothing won't make or break a great portrait, but it you have a
choice, have everyone wear the same tone, either light or dark
colors. If one person wears white and everyone else dark, the
person in white will stand out. To create the
variety of expressions you want, we suggest you avoid
clothing changes. We can help you choose the most flattering
clothing and which will photograph best.

- WEATHER
- For outdoor portraits, overcast or
cloudy days are actually better than bright, sunny days.
If we have scheduled an outdoor session but weather doesn't
cooperate, no need to reschedule, as we can go inside to our
studio.
